2020 is definitely EVA year as new product announcement comes in every month. Following the announcement of Rei and Asuka plugsuit version Nendoroid, Good Smile Company has announced the release of Shinji and Kaworu Nendoroid in plugsuit!
The Nendoroid reference the character in Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo movie where they were the co-pilot of the EVA Unit-13. Shinji & Kaworu both share an identical Nendoroid body and both come with three face plates and a set of interchangeable arm and leg parts. Both come with similar entry plug interior parts but are differentiated with different decal marking on the headrest area. While Kaworu will have the Spear of Cassius as his only accessory, Shinji will come with the Spear of Longinus, plus a backpack which appeares in the ending scene of the EVA movie. A must have for fans to celebrate the special bond between the two 😛
Nendoroid Shinji and Kaworu Plugsuit Ver. are now available for pre-order on GoodSmile Shop US until Oct 21, 2020 (23:59PST), and both expected to be shipped in May 2021.
