New RG Strike Freedom Gundam comes in titanium finish, early bird pre-order opens now!

An upgraded RG 1/144 Strike Freedom Gundam will be coming in titanium finish and gold plating! Based on the previous launch, the new RG model kit will adapt the previous design with the updated metallic colour molding of blue, red, yellow, and grey. Joints of the Gundam will come gold plated to provide more accurate look from the anime appearance, and the white main-body color would come in white-plated titanium finish! The new metallic finish certainly provide a stronger mechanical look over the previous version! It’d be interesting to compare this model kit to the METAL BUILD series.

The model kit was expected to launch at GUNPLA EXPO TOKYO 2020 feat. GUNDAM Conference in November as event merchandise. It is now available as early-bird pre-order on Premium Bandai JP, estimated shipment in January 2021. 

Meanwhile, the Wings of Light expansion parts for the original RG Strike Freedom Gundam is now available for pre-order on a re-release. And yes, the expansion will be compatible to the new RG kit.
