More information has been released at TGS2020 on Sept 26 for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, a collaboration project of Nintendo and KOEI TECMO Games. Considered as the prequel of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild; player will learn firsthand the story of Hyrule 100 years ago, driven by non-stop musou style battles against the Ganon’s troops.
New trailer has been released during the broadcast, where we get to see the special moves of the Four Champions. The demo game play by the producer reveals the key item Sheikah Stone which gives Link the special abilities such as remote bomb and bita lock. It is also announced Impa from the Sheikah clan is also playable in the game (and she looks 100 years younger.) The anticipated title will be released on Nov 20 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
Lastly, the Treasure Box Edition of the game is announced, coming with bonus acrylic stand, a blanket, a metal charm. We’d keep you updated regarding the North American release.
