Developed by Edelweiss, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is a refined side-scrolling action RPG game that have kept fans of the genre excited since its announcement in 2018 (myself included). Playing as Sakuna, the banished harvest goddess will be exploring the island, defeating demons, harvesting rice, improving the lives of humans, and proving herself worthy of her title. New trailer has been released on July edition of Nintendo Direct Mini in Japan, and official release date has been set on November 12, 2020.
The game will also be available in North America on November 10, with the option for a physical Divine Edition which contains a 130+ pages color art book, full OST CD set, a Japanese Omamori Charm, and the base game. Pre-order can now be placed on XSEED Games, the game publisher in North America.
The game is available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC.
