Possibility with Lego is limitless. The brand has announced the upcoming release of NES model kit (71374), which is mechanically capable to house a Lego-built Super Mario Bros cartridge, and connect the Lego-made controller.
And there is more.
The package will also include parts to build a 1980 retro style TV; with a crank on the side of the TV, you can roll the Lego-built screen in motion, reliving the Super Mario Bros gaming experience interactively in Lego-style! You can also place the Lego Mario (which is sold separately) on top of the TV, and the figure will react to the on-screen enemies, obstacles and power-ups.
The Lego Nintendo Entertainment System (71374) model kit will be available on August 1, on Lego Website. Make sure to check the site for availablility.
