FFVII Remake Cloud Strife Ver.2 to release in August

It has been almost two months since the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake. Starting this summer, Square-Enix has scheduled to release a list of Play Arts Kai figures from the hit title. In August, we’d see the release of Cloud Strife Version 2.

This year release will be an update version based on the 2017 release; the main update will be on the soldier’s head sculpt, which will look closer to the in game 3D model appearance. The Buster Sword will see an updated weathered look, providing a more realistic look than its predecessor.

The package will include replaceable hands, Buster Sword, and a display stand.

The figure is available for preorder now on Square Enix Store NA; estimate release in August 2020.
