Nier:Automata 2B to join PLAY ARTS KAI line up in May 2021

Square-Enix has just made two Nier:Automata merchandise announcements hours before TGS2020 opening. The well receive character 2B (aka YoRHa No. 2 Type B) will now join PLAY ARTS KAI action figure lineup, set to release in May 2021.

The 10” figure is meticulously sculpted and faithfully reflecting the original design of the character. From the official photo release we can see the details in the hair strands and the embossed pattern on her gothic battle dress. Her dress and her long boots are given two different paint finishes to reflect the material differences of the outfit. 

2B will come with 3 sets of interchangeable hands, the Virtuous Contract sword, and a display stand as standard. The deluxe variant will come with everything standard plus two extra head sculpts (a blind folded emotional head piece and a unmasked head piece), a skirtless lower body part, an additional Virtuous Treaty Long sword, weapon effect parts, and her tactical support unit Pod 042!
