Two Dynasty Warriors new titles have been announced in TGS2020. First, Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires was announced and expected to release in early 2021. So far, only a teaser trailer is available and we can expect more to come later this year.
We also see the announcement of the title’s mobile game at the event. The game’s official website has been up and a few in game screenshots are available, but still it is unknown when the game will be released. It may be available much faster than anticipated as the game is now accepting registration for closed beta test in Japan, which is scheduled between Oct 8 – 12, 2020.

We also see demo gameplay from the producer which is a good indicator of the game game’s development progress. The graphic looks pretty impressive for a mobile game and we can expect tons of action with simple controls like drag and tabs on the screen. It is worth noting that the game support horizontal and vertical orientation so you can play the game with two hands or one hand. Like other mobile games, there will be story mode and game mode, and collection elements including illustrations and costumes of the characters.
