Gundam RX78-F00 Limited Model Kit to Drop on Aug 6 (JST)

Celebrating Gunpla 40th Anniversary and the launch of the 1:1 scale movable Gundam RX78-F00 at Gundam Factory Yokohama (at Yamashita Pier, Yokohama), Bandai will be releasing two limited model kits, schedule to ship in September.

The commemorative model kit comes in two scale: the 1/144 scale HG equivalent model and 1/100 scale RE equivalent model. Both models references the design of the movable Gundam at, and both will come with the signature weaponry of RX-78—the light sabre, shield, and a rifle. The major difference is the display base, where the 1/144 scale will come with a G-dock, which references the on-site platform at Yokohama; the 1/100 model will have a black display pedestal.

Both model kit will be available for pre-order on P-Bandai JP on Aug 6 (13:00 JST), expected to ship in September 2020. The model kit will also be sold on-site at the grand opening of the event in October.
