Sega to celebrate 60th Anniversary with Astro City Mini release

Celebrating Sega’s 60th Anniversary, the arcade giant is releasing Astro City Mini gaming console this December. First introduced in 1993, Astro City arcade cabinet hosted arcade hits that had certainly brought a lot of memories to gamer; Astro City Mini will preload 36 classics that gamer could relive those memories!

Sega has yet announced the full 36 games on the machine, but here’s the 10 titles that have been verified so far:

• Alien Syndrome
• Alien Storm
• Golden Axe
• Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder
• Columns II
• Dark Edge
• Puzzle & Action: Tant-R
• Virtua Fighter
• Fantasy Zone
• Altered Beast

Astro City Mini will have HDMI, USB, and multiplayer support; a control pad will be sold separately along with the console release. The console is priced at ¥12800 and would make a great holiday present for gamer. More details to follow.
